Bartlett, Kaye

Kaye Bartlett, beloved wife of Ken, passed away after surgery and a short illness, at the age of 72, in the Lethbridge Regional Hospital on Friday, April 18, 2003.
Kaye was born in the district of Willow Creek, to Gordon and Sadie Gray. As a young girl, the Gray family moved to their family farm south of Fort Macleod.
In 1951 Kaye and Ken married. Together they raised their family in various parts of the country and Germany, as they accompanied Ken throughout his career in the Canadian Armed Forces.
In 1977 they retired to Lethbridge where Kaye resided until the time of her passing.
Kay will be sadly missed by her husband of 52 years, Ken; daughter Connie (Peter); son Terry; grandsons Chris and Kevin Gardiner; sisters Ethel (Bob) Jackman, Beth (Lloyd) Gillard and Margaret (Dwaine) Archibald; brother Larry (Doreen) Gray; and sisters-in-law Joyce and Mary Gray.
Kaye was predeceased by her parents Gordon and Sadie Gray; brothers Claude, Fred, Bill, Leonard, Bob, Roy and Bert; and sister Isabel.
A private family inurnment will take place in Martin Bros. Chapel of Peace. All are welcome to a memorial service to be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, April 24, 2003, in Martin Bros. Memorial Chapel, 703 – 13th St. N., with Mr. Rodney Galambos officiating.
