Joyce Lorraine (Donahue) Fjordbotten, beloved wife of Roy Fjordbotten of Granum, born Dec. 1, 1932, passed away peacefully Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2007, in Claresholm surrounded by family.
A loving mother, grandmother and friend, Joyce is survived by her husband Roy; their children Brenda (Ron) McLeod, Paul (Donna) Fjordbotten, Wayne (Suzanne) Fjordbotten and Kevin (Diane) Fjordbotten; her grandchildren Raine and Bobbie, Brent, Robyn and Kyle, Scott and Ryan, Jesse and Krista.
Joyce is also survived by her sisters Faye Doyle and Evelyn Vandergrift; her brothers Joe Donahue and Michael Donahue and their families.
Joyce was predeceased by her parents Bud and Charlotte Donahue.
A private graveside service was held Monday, Sept. 24, 2007.
A celebration of Joyce’s life was held at Granum Lutheran Church on Monday, Sept. 24, 2007, at 2 p.m. Following the service friends were invited to meet with the family at the Granum Drop-In Centre.
