Cancer Society requires Fort Macleod champion

Join the fight against all cancers by volunteering your time with the Canadian Cancer Society by becoming a Community Champion.
This new program of the society will help those affected by any types of cancer.
When you volunteer your time with the Canadian Cancer Society, you are helping your neighbour, loved one, or friend who may have experienced the disease.
One volunteer in Fort Macleod, Crowsnest Pass, Claresholm, Pincher Creek, Raymond, Magrath, Cardston, Milk River, Coutts, Warner, Vauxhall and Vulcan.
Volunteers will be the first contact for cancer patients needing support and education in their town.
You will also be required to keep brochures filled at local medical facilities and assist with fund-raising for the Cancer Society in your town.
Duties may change slightly as this new program develops.
Your responsibilities will take about five hours a month for at least a one-year commitment and can work around most schedules.
Volunteer screening will be the first step of the process.
