Vehicle hit motorcycle, left scene

A woman faces charges of drunk driving, dangerous driving and leaving the scene of an accident after a motorcyclist was hit by a car Saturday in the Crowsnest Pass.
RCMP responded Saturday to a complaint that a small car had struck a motorcycle and left the scene.
The motorcycle driver was transferred to Calgary hospital for treatment for serious injuries, the RCMP said in a news release. The driver is expected to make a full recovery.
The driver of the car left the Crowsnest Pass and headed to Pincher Creek.
RCMP Const. R. Wright said in a news release the police received several complaints about the vehicle’s driving pattern from other motorists.
Pincher Creek RCMP and Alberta Sheriffs stopped the vehicle and arrested the driver.
Courtney Bruised Head of the Blood Tribe was charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle causing injury, failing to remain at the scene of an accident, dangerous driving, driving without a licence and breach of probation.
Bruised Head will appear this week in Pincher Creek provincial court.
