Fort Macleod RCMP seeking vehicle vandalism suspects

Fort Macleod RCMP are looking for three people in connection with vandalism on Friday night.
Police responded about 3:30 a.m. Friday to a home on the 400 block of 23rd Street after receiving a complaint of vandalism.
Const. John Learn said in a news release the owner of a Dodge Caravan that was parked outside his residence heard glass breaking.
“Upon going outside to investigate the noise he observed the side window of his van had been broken,” Learn said.
A large rock had been thrown through the side window of the Caravan.
The man saw two men and a woman near the vehicle.
The home owner detained the woman after calling the RCMP.
“While waiting one of the males returned and threatened the man to let go of the female,” Learn said. “The resident complied and all the subjects fled the scene.”
They were last seen heading north on Fourth Avenue.
The three suspects are native, appeared to be intoxicated and were about 18 years of age.
The woman was wearing a pink hooded sweater and had a ponytail. She also had a cut on her leg or foot.
Anyone with information should call Fort Macleod RCMP at 403-553-7200 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
