Fort Macleod’s Empress Theatre plans auditions for next musical ‘Nunsense’

Auditions will be held next week for a June production of the play “Nunsense” at the Empress Theatre.
“After the amazing amount of support and participation Anne of Green Gables got last year, we thought it was important to keep the momentum going this year,” Erin Henderson said.
The Empress Theatre just received the rights and royalties for the musical ‘Nunsense.”
The show is set to run June 11-21.
Auditions are from 7-9 p.m. Monday, march 24 and Thursday, March 27 in the Green Room at the theatre.
Prospective actors should come prepared to sing a one-minute song of their own choosing.
The actors will also be asked to read excerpts from the script, which will be provided.
People are also needed to fill a variety of behind-the-scenes duties in areas such as production assistants, stage managers and costumes.
Phone Erin Henderson at Erin Henderson at 403-553-2152 to make an appointment.
People can also drop in, but they may have to wait for an opening.
