Lewis George Postman was born on March 28, 1937 in Lethbridge. He passed away peacefully at the Community Health Centre in Fort Macleod, on Monday, April 7, 2014, at the age of 77 years. He was beloved husband of Jean (nee Veenland).
Besides his loving wife of 57 years, Lewis is survived by four sons and their families, Kelvin (Bonny), Terry (Gail), James (Bernice) and Len; grandchildren Ken (Erica), Jeff (Julie), Colby, Justin (Mandi), David (Bonnie), Seana (Delbert), Dakota (Kenzie), Merissa (Joel), Mykaila, Myranda and Ashleigh; 13 great grandchildren; brother Henry; sister Nettie (Ron) Wilson; brothers-in-law Peter and Klass; and sister-in-law Clara Veenland.
Lewis was predeceased by his parents Gerrit and Johanna Postman and sisters-in-law Alice Postman and Minnie Veenland.
A funeral service was held at 2 p.m., on Saturday, April 12, 2014, at the Christian Reformed Church of Granum, eight kilometres east of Granum on Highway 519.
