Cote, Paul David

Heaven just got a lot more interesting.
On Saturday, April 2, 2016, c passed away in Lethbridge after a long battle with health issues, with his beloved children, daughter Tahlia Dove Smiley, 21, and son Damian Smiley, 18, at his side. He was 51 years old.
Paul was born in Picture Butte on Sept. 22, 1964, and lived with his family in Edmonton, Kelowna and then Fort Macleod where he graduated from F.P. Walshe school.
Paul worked construction all across Alberta then became a gasfitter and spent many years in Calgary before returning to Fort Macleod.
Paul had a soft spot for strays, and he loved loud music, hanging out with his friends, campfires, and Pilsner beer. His biggest source of pride and joy, however, was his kids, Tahlia and Damian.
Paul was predeceased by his grandparents and by his mom Sharon and his dad Gerry. He is survived by his brothers Dan and Marc (Dana); sisters Lisa (Shane) and Nicole; nephews Teague (Lisa) and Tyson (Marc); nieces Amber and Renee (Marc); uncles, aunts, cousins and many extended family members.
A memorial service for Paul is being planned at Eden’s Funeral Home, 2424 Fifth Ave., Fort Macleod. Details will be shared as soon as possible when arrangements have been finalized.
