Claresholm Arts Society preparing musical

Claresholm Arts Society will present a new musical in January.
Back to the ’80s . . . the Totally Awesome Musical directed by Christin Slevin will be performed Jan. 12, Jan. 13 and Jan 18-20 at Claresholm Community Centre.
Back to the ’80s tells the story of the 1989 graduating class of William Ocean High as seen through the eyes of the narrator, Corey Palmer Sr., who is now living in the year 2001.
Throughout the story, Corey Sr. introduces and provides insight into various characters.
He tells the audience of the cool kids, the nerds, the regular kids, and the faculty of William Ocean High.
The cast includes Spencer Van Dellen as Corey Jr.; Kaleb Cook as Alf; Laci McLeod as Kirk: Gaven Moore as Michael; Rayden Slevin as Billy; Annalisa Harrison as Lionel; Thaniel Franz as Feargal; Cassidy Wynia as Tiffany; Stephanie King as Cyndi; Debby Jovanka as Debbie; Carmen White as Laura; Chelsie Harris from Fort Macleod as Eileen; Aby Wolff from Fort Macleod as Kim; Danielle Vandervalk as Mel; Alec Harrison as Corey Sr.; Christin Slevin as Brannigan; Peter Morton as Cocker; Emilea Harrison as Brittney; Mia Berreth as Tiffany; Kennedy Hazelaar as Molly; and Alex Bremner as Huey.
