Gospel music, prayer, testimony, food and fellowship happens this weekend at Granum.
The theme of the 21st annual Willow Creek Gospel Jamboree, which runs from Friday, July 27 to Sunday, July 29, is “Keep the Faith.”
The event features four concerts under the big tent, along with an interdenominational church service and a vacation bible school for children.
The 2018 Willow Creek Gospel Jamboree is July 27-29 at Granum’s Granview Park.
The jamboree gets under way at 5 p.m. Friday, July 27 with a chili supper in the concession.
The opening concert is at 7 p.m. July 27, beginning with the Fort Macleod Alliance Church Worship Band.
Darrel Janz returns as master of ceremonies in 2018.
The Friday evening program features performances by the Keepers of the Faith, the Taito Family and the Trudel Family.
A one-day vacation bible school gets under way at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 28 in the Granum Homesteader for children aged six to 12 years, and runs until 4 p.m.
A morning concert begins at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 28 and features the music of the Joyful Melody Trio, the Trudel Family and the Taito Family.
Lunch is available at the concession from 12 noon to 1 p.m. Saturday.
The afternoon concert gets under way at 1 p.m. Saturday with praise and worship led by the Fort Macleod Alliance Church Worship Band followed by performances by the Trudel Family, Joyful Melody Trio, Keepers of the Faith, and the Taito Family.
A beef-on-a-bun supper is from 5-6:30 p.m. Saturday at the Homesteader.
The evening concert on Saturday features the music of Fort Macleod Alliance Church Worship Band, the Taito Family, the Trudel Family, Joyful Melody Trio, and Keepers of the Faith.
A free pancake breakfast provided by Granum Christian Reformed Church runs from 8-9 a.m. Sunday, July 29.
The Fort Macleod Alliance Church Worship Band performs from 9-9:30 a.m.
At 10 a.m. by an interdenominational church service features Keepers of the Faith.
Guest speaker for the service is Brother Ace.
