Fort Macleod RCMP are investigating a weekend break-in that led to the theft of 2016 Polaris ATV.

Const. Zach Stonley said in a news release between 4:30-5:30 a.m. on Saturday Sept. 29 two suspects stole a green 2016 Polaris ATV from Buffalo Pawn on 12 St. in Fort Macleod.

Stonley said the suspects entered the compound by cutting a fence and drove away on the ATV.

During the time the ATV was stolen, a light coloured SUV, possibly a newer Ford Edge or Escape, was seen driving by the location several times.

The vehicle’s involvement with the theft is unknown at this point, but police would like to speak with the driver who may have witnessed something that may be of assistance to the investigation.

Anyone with information should contact Fort Macleod RCMP at 403-553-7200 or Crime Stoppers at 1.800.222.8477.
