An armed man entered Granum ATB Financial on Friday afternoon and demanded cash. He fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.

RCMP are searching for a five foot eight Caucasian male in connection with an armed robber Friday afternoon at ATB Financial in Granum.
Police received a 911 call at 2:11 p.m. Friday that an armed man wearing a black balaclava, black hoodie, dark sunglasses, black gloves and green jeans was demanding cash.
“He was yelling and screaming and appeared to be extremely agitated,” RCMP Const. Ben Stubbe said in an interview outside the bank.
Stubbe said the man was noticed entering the bank from the south side. As he looked into the bank the man made eye contact with another man, smirked and laughed.
Inside the bank the man demanded cash and warned staff not to give him money boobytrapped with sue packs and told them not to call 911.
“He seemed to know what he was doing,” Stubbe said, adding the man spoke with a raspy voice.
The man had a weapon but did not brandish it, said Stubbe, adding it was not a gun.
No one was physically harmed during the robbery.
The man was heading south when he left the bank on foot.
Anyone who sees the suspect should call 911 immediately. Stubbe advised people not to approach the man because of the weapon.
