Fort Macleod RCMP investigating multiple thefts

Fort Macleod RCMP are investigating a series of break-ins and thefts at local businesses between Dec. 24-27.
Const. Zach Stonley said in a news release a red 1996 dually Ford service truck was stolen on Christmas Eve from a business on Highway 785 near Highway 2.
There was a red tool box on the rear of the truck.
Within the Fort Macleod town limits, three businesses in the industrial area on 12th Street had multiple vehicles entered and damaged in an attempt to steal them.
A 1998 black Dodge Ram with a flat deck was stolen from a business in the 500 block of 12th Street.
In addition to the vehicles, batteries and tools were stolen.
Stonley said the thefts may have occurred over the same time period, and are believed to be the work of the same individuals.
Anyone with information can contact Fort Macleod RCMP at 403-553-7200 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or www.tipsubmit.com.
