Fort Macleod Chamber recruiting board members

Fort Macleod and District Chamber of Commerce is recruiting new people for its leadership team.

The Chamber will hold its annual general meeting March 5 at 7 p.m. at the G.R. Davis Administration Building.

A new board of directors is to be elected at the annual general meeting.

“If you want to be part of the Chamber we would sure be happy to see you there,” Chamber president Andrew Beusekom said.

Beusekom provided an update on plans for the annual general meeting on Thursday during the Chamber’s February lunch meeting at the G.R. Davis Administration Building.

The Chamber’s executive consists of the president, vice-president and treasurer.

There is room for a maximum of 11 directors on the board.

Anyone interested in serving on the Chamber board of directors must  complete an expression of interest form.

Once the application is approved by the present board, the person will be added to the slate of nominees to be presented at the annual general meeting.

Applicants are asked to provide a short biography and a photo with their application.
