John Stevens — 1916-2002
On Wednesday, July 24, 2002, Mr. John Howard Stevens of Cold Lake passed away at the age of 86 years.
John is survived by his loving family: his wife Elsie Stevens of Cold Lake; two sons, Rick (Elaine) Stevens of Cold Lake and Brian Stevens of Rosalind, Alta.; one daughter, Pat Rahall of Blanco, New Mexico; one brother, Claud Stevens of Fort Macleod; six grandchildren, Cameron, Dana, Adam, Mark, Josh and Jonathan; as well as two great grandchildren, Nicholas and Jayden.
John was predeceased by his parents Claud and Edith; his sister Amy; his daughter Gail; and his son Billy.
Honourary pallbearers were Cameron Stevens, Josh Rahall, Adam Stevens, Mark Stevens and Jonathan Stevens.
A service of remembrance was held on Saturday, Aug. 10, 2002, at 2 p.m. at Trinity United Church in Fort Macleod with Rev. Aldeen McKay officiating.
