Harold Albert Eckmier — 1928-2003
Harold Albert Eckmier, beloved husband of the late Mildred Eckmier, passed away peacefully at the Fort Macleod Hospital on March 3, 2003, at the age of 75 years.
Harold had resided at Extendicare for the past year. He was predeceased by his wife Mildred in 1993.
Harold leaves to mourn his passing, his sister Jean (Norman) Bedard of Nelson, B.C.; his niece Linda Bedard of Victoria, B.C.; his nephews Brian (Lonnie) Bedard and family of Vernon, B.C. and Gordon (Lori) Bedard of Kelowna, B.C.
He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Cremation has taken place. Harold’s family wishes to extend its heartfelt thanks to the care-givers, nurses and Dr. Bennett of Extendicare and the Fort Macleod Hospital, who looked after Harold with such dedication.
