Les Nash — 1912-2003
Leslie William Nash passed away at Extendicare in Fort Macleod on Monday, March 31, 2003, at the age of 90 years.
Les was born at Granum on Dec. 29, 1912 to Albert and Maude Nash.
Les is survived by Shirley, his beloved companion of 59 years; his brother Cyril (Marge) Nash; sisters-in-law Trudy Blunden, Florence Blunden, Audrey Nash and Georgia Tomik; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and many special friends.
Les was predeceased by his parents; his brothers, Albert Nash and Alf Nash; stepbrothers, Bill Blunden and Tom Blunden and by his sister-in-law Dorothy Nash.
A funeral service was held at Eden’s Funeral Home, Fort Macleod on Saturday, April 5, 2003, at 2 p.m. with Rev. Aldeen McKay officiating. Cremation.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Les’ memory to the Fort Macleod Handi Bus, P.O. Box 881, Fort Macleod, T0L 0Z0.
