Norman W. Clarke, beloved husband, father and grandfather, passed away on Thursday, June 5, 2003, at the age of 65 years. He is survived by his loving wife Joan of 40 years; son, Ron; daughter, Linda (Geoff) Douglas; and two precious grandchildren, Gregory and Caitlin, all of Calgary. Norm is also survived by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Bob and Ethel Jackman of Fort Macleod; his best friend and family, Ross Chester of Canoe, B.C.; three sisters, Leola (Norm) Baird of Lethbridge, Evelyn (Jack) Cullen and Lorraine Clarke, both of Fort Macleod; nieces and nephews, a large extended family and numerous friends. Norm was predeceased by his parents and sister-in-law Doreen. Norm was born and raised in Fort Macleod where he resided until September of 1967, at which time he and his family moved to Calgary. He was a very devoted husband, father and grandfather and his loss has left a huge void in our lives. Norm’s greatest joy was grandchildren and he loved every opportunity to be with them. Besides his family Norm had a passion for golf and enjoyed spending time with friends, always welcoming the opportunity to meet new people.
