Peter Martens — 1938-2003
Peter Martens passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2003, at the Claresholm General Hospital at the age of 65 years.
He is the beloved husband of Tina of Granum; and dear father of Ron (Carman) of Freisenhein, Germany, Victor of Calgary, Debbie of Calgary and Stan (Charlene) of Ottawa.
Peter is also lovingly remembered by his mother Tina Martens, as well as three grandchildren, Justin, Amelia and Hayden.
He was predeceased by his father Jacob.
Funeral services were held at Leyden’s Chapel of Remembrance at 4079 First Street W. in Claresholm on Monday, Nov. 24 at 1 p.m.
Interment followed in the Granum Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made directly to the Alberta Cancer Foundation at 1331 29th St. N.W., Calgary, T3C 3R2.
