| Annie Killoran (nee
Wojnar), beloved wife of Neil Killoran of Fort Macleod, passed away
peacefully at Extendicare Fort Macleod on Friday, Nov. 3, 2006, at the age
of 82 years. Annie was born Jan. 1, 1924, at Besko, Poland. She immigrated to Canada in 1927 with her family and settled in the Thorhild area. Annie graduated as a registered nurse from Vegreville Hospital in 1947. She nursed in Prince Rupert, Hobbema, Blood Tribe Hospital (Cardston) and more recently in Fort Macleod until she retired. Annie married Neil Killoran on April 12, 1958. They resided in Fort Macleod and raised two daughters: Stasha Donahue and Kathleen Carlsen. Annie was involved with the Catholic Women's League for many years and she was also involved with Brownies and Girl Guides. Annie is survived by her husband Neil; her daughters Kathleen (Jim) Carlsen of P.E.I. and Stasha (Tim) Donahue of Fort Macleod; four grandchildren, Keagan, Conlan and Mackenzie Donahue and Erik Carlsen; her sister Olga Wasyliw; her brother Tony Wojnar and by numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral mass will be celebrated at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Fort Macleod, on Wednesday, Nov. 8, 2006 at 11 a.m. with Father Ben Marino officiating. Prayer service was held at Eden's Funeral Home on Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2006, at 7 p.m. Interment in Union Cemetery. If friends desire, memorial donations may be made in Annie's memory to the Alzheimer Society, Lethbridge area, 162, 200 Fourth Ave. S., Lethbridge, T1J 4C9.
