Ella Joan Cisar, aged 71
years, of Claresholm, passed away Sunday, Dec. 17, 2006, after a courageous
and feisty battle with Parkinsonıs, widow of George Phillip Cisar.
She is the beloved mother of three children, Pat (Teresa) Cisar of St.
Albert, Kathy (Gary) Gibson of Calgary, Tim (Karen) Cisar of Claresholm; and
loving grandmother to seven grandchildren, Alexis (Cody) Jackson, Susie
Busby, Kelly, Mitchel, Joel, Brody, and Logan Cisar.
Besides her husband, Joan was predeceased by her parents Art and Ella Grant,
and a brother Donald Grant.
Joan was born in Cereal, Alta. and later moved to Granum and in 1953 married
her childhood sweetheart and resided at Granum until moving to Claresholm in
November 2001, residing at Claresholm since.
Joan took great pride in her family, spent many enjoyable hours supporting
her children and grandchildren in their activities.
Joan enjoyed cooking, baking and supporting her community through her long
time involvement in CWL, Beavers, and Sewettes. We will miss you
Mom/Grandma.
Relatives and friends were invited to meet for prayers at Christ The King
Catholic Church Tuesday, Dec. 19 at 7:30 p.m.
Funeral mass will be celebrated at Christ The King Catholic Church on
Wednesday, Dec. 20 at 2 p.m. with Father Malcolm D'Souza presiding.
Interment to follow in the Claresholm Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations maybe made to the Parkinsonıs Society of
Southern Alberta, 1254 Third Ave. S., Lethbridge, T1J 0J9.
