Lester Dodd — 2006
Lester Dodd of Calgary passed away peacefully on Sunday, Jan. 22, 2006, at the age of 85 years. Lester served his country proudly overseas in World War Two. He loved to spend time with his family and friends, sharing a beer and socializing with everyone. He was a long-time member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 285. Lesterıs family will always remember his strength, sense of humour, and how proud he was of his family. Lester is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Ken Burgess of Penhold, Alta.; his son and daughter-in-law, Maury and Connie Dodd of Calgary; and three grandchildren, Amanda and Kaleigh Burgess, and Adelle Dodd. Lester was predeceased by his beloved wife of 56 years Mildred in March of 2003.
