Michal (Mike) Trojan 2006
Besides his loving wife Gerda, Mike is survived by his daughter Laurie Donaldson, granddaughter Chelsea Donaldson, both of Lethbridge, his great niece Ania Gradek of Toronto, Ont., and by his extended family in Poland.
Mike came to Canada in 1953 where he settled in Fort Macleod. He worked for the Canadian Pacific Railway for 33 years until retirement in 1982.
He loved to golf and garden but most of all his family was the love of his life. He truly enjoyed spending time with Gerda, Laurie and Chelsea.
During his younger years, he liked to travel but eventually became more satisfied taking care of his home and looking after his dogs Ginger and Lily.
Mike will be truly missed by his family and friends. We'll love you always, Pa.
A memorial service was held at Trinity United Church, Fort Macleod, on Tuesday, May 30, 2006, at 1 p.m. with Rev. Aldeen McKay officiating.
