Susan Juanita Babin (Narkaus) — 1911-2006

   Susan Juanita Babin (Narkaus) passed away peacefully to be with her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ on Saturday, July 22, 2006, at the age of 95 years.
   Susan was born on Jan. 9, 1911, in Granum, Alta. to Tom and Bessie Narkaus, the third of seven children. She married Stanley Babin in Lethbridge in 1943. They farmed in the Granum area until the early 1970s.
   Susan leaves to mourn her passing, her son Ron (Dorothy); her grandchildren Darcy and Kim (John Nikkel); great grandchildren Tayla and Karly Nikkel and Melissa Babin; and numerous nieces and nephews.
   One sister, Maxine (Duncan) Fletcher, of Lakeport, California also survives her.
   She was predeceased by her parents Tom and Bessie Narkaus; her husband Stanley; her brother Russell; and her sisters Mabel, Lola, Edith and Stella.
   The funeral service will be held at Eden's Funeral Home, Fort Macleod, on Thursday, July 27, 2006, at 2 p.m. with Pastor Kirbey Lockhart of Victory Christian Fellowship officiating.
   Interment to follow in the Granum Cemetery.
