Floris Lemire— 2007

   Long-time Fort Macleod resident, Mr. Floris Lemire, beloved husband of Mrs. Eunice Lemire, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 24, 2007 at the age of 80 years in the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital after dealing courageously with declining health over the past years.
   Floris also leaves to cherish his memory one daughter, Anne (Ron) Edwards of Medicine Hat; three sons, David (Colleen) of Okotoks, Jack (Gayle) of Medicine Hat, and Tom (Pat) of Sherwood Park; eight grandchildren, Jennifer (Curtis), Kate, Megan, Scott, Janet, Karen, Nicole, and Cody (Amy); one brother, Andre (Lenore) Lemire of Medicine Hat; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
   Floris was predeceased by his parents, Lucien and Flore; one brother, Aime; and one sister, Lucille.
   Floris' love of life, family, friends, and community will be remembered by all who enjoyed the privilege of knowing him.
   A private funeral service was held in Saamis Memorial Funeral Chapel, No. 1 Dunmore Road, S.E., on Thursday, April 26, 2007, with Reverend Father John L. Maes officiating.
