Ian Robert Gainford— 2007

   With deep sadness and heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of our son and brother, Ian Robert Gainford, due to a tragic traffic accident on June 11, 2007.
   Beloved son of Rita and Richard; dear brother to Rick (Stacy), Jeff, Sarah, Shaun (Julie) and Megan; and special uncle to Jewel, Seth and Logan. Ian is survived by his Opa and Oma Van Niedek, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
   He was predeceased by his Grandpa and Nanny Gainford.
   Ian loved life, loved to laugh and brought much joy to his family and those who knew him. He overcame many obstacles in his short life and was kind-hearted and generous to a fault. We love and miss you Ian and peace be with you on your new journey.
   A celebration of Ian's life, attended by many uncles, aunts and cousins who travelled from Ontario, was held in the Chapel of Christensen Salmon Funeral Home, 327 - 10th St. S., Lethbridge, on Friday, June 15, 2007, at 2 p.m. Those wishing to make a donation can send them to the Alberta's Children Hospital, 2888 Shaganappi Trail N.W., Calgary, T3B 6A8.
