Family, friends mourn Jean Anderson
It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our mother,
grandmother, sister and friend, Jean Anderson, on Sunday, June 3, 2007, at
the age of 87.
Jean was born in Pincher Creek on May 2, 1920. She married Anton
Anderson on Oct. 21, 1938. They farmed in the Nobleford area until their
retirement to Fort Macleod in 1973.
Jean was predeceased by her husband on Aug. 5, 1999. They had been
married 61 years.
Jean is survived by her brothers, Bob (Mary Belle) Welsh of Fort
Macleod, Barney (Julia) Welsh of Vegreville, John (Marg) Welsh of Vauxhall,
Larry (Sharlene) Welsh of Calgary and Geraldine (Floyd) Domier of Toronto.
Jean was predeceased by her sister Marie (wife of Charlie Marsden) and
brother Ed (Bella) Welsh.
Jean will be remembered by her son Dennis (Pat) Anderson of
Vegreville; her daughter Arlene (Bob) Kane of Kelowna; her grandchildren Tim
(Tammy) Anderson and family of Camrose, Robyn Anderson of Colinton, Blair
(Susan) Kane and family, Byron (Melody) Kane and Susan Kane and family of
Kelowna. Cremation at Lethbridge Cornerstone Funeral Home. At Jeanšs request
there will be no funeral service. No flowers by request.
