John Van Sluys— 2007

   John Van Sluys, beloved husband of Jeanette Van Sluys of Fort Macleod, passed away on Sunday, April 8, 2007, at the age of 82 years.
   John is survived by his wife Jeanette; his children Dennis (Marion) Van Sluys of Fort Macleod, Henry (Tilly) Van Sluys of Fort Macleod, John (Gerda) Van Sluys of Lethbridge, Gary (Brenda) Van Sluys of Lethbridge, Linda (Don) Maclean of Fort Macleod and Joanne (Terry) Stevens of Lethbridge; 18 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; two brothers, Pete Van Sluys and Andy Van Sluys; and three sisters, Jannie (Maurice) Indenbosch, Nel (Andy) DeKok and Matty (John) Vanee.
   John was predeceased by his parents.
   Funeral service will be held at the Netherlands Reformed Church, Fort Macleod on Wednesday, April 11, 2007, at 10:30 a.m. Interment in Union Cemetery.
   Condolences were at Eden's Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 10, 2007, from 7-8 p.m.
   If friends desire, memorial donations may be made in John's memory to The Alberta Lung Association, c/o the Fort Macleod drug stores.
