Mrs. Justine Hamilton, wife of the late Earl
Hamilton, passed away peacefully at Fort Macleod on Monday Oct. 22, 2007 at
the age of 75. Justine was born July 25, 1932, at Rush Lake, Sask. and then
spent her formative years in Didsbury.
Justine is survived by her children Terri (Allan) Edwards of Hudson
Bay Sask., David (Gale) Hamilton of Calgary, Glenda (Perry) Albert of
Lethbridge, Rob Hamilton (Patty Jensen) of Black Diamond; grandchildren
Jeremey (Rochelle) Edwards of Hudson Bay, Sask., Kristine (Billy) Gossen of
Nova Scotia, Britt Hamilton and Kara Hamilton of Calgary, Laura Albert of
Lethbridge; great grandchildren Georgia, Lilianne and Nikala Edwards of
Hudson Bay, Sask. and Alex Hamilton of Terrace, B.C.; brothers Ed (Anna),
John (Irene) and Raymond (Virdella); sister Doreen; as well as numerous
extended family.
Justine was predeceased by her husband Earl in 2000 and by her
parents Henry and Maria Harder and by a sister in childhood.
Justine completed her registered nursing aid training in Calgary
and spent more than 30 years working at the Fort Macleod Hospital.
The family wishes to thank all of the staff at Sunrise Village in
Lethbridge and at Fort Macleod Extendicare for all the care and compassion
shown to Justine.
Friends were invited to meet with the family on Wednesday Oct. 24,
2007 from 6-8 p.m. at Martin Brothers Riverview Chapel at 610 Fourth St. S.,
Lethbridge.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Thursday Oct. 25, 2007 in
the United Church at 220 20th St. in Fort Macleod.
Interment followed at the Fort Macleod cemetery.
In lieu of flowers people may donate to a charity of their choice. |
