Lillian Franck, 86, died in hospital in Great
Falls, Montana on Friday, June 1, 2007, six days after sustaining a broken
hip in a fall at her apartment. She was born on the family farm in
Northumberland, U.K, and served in the W.A.A.F. during and after World War
Two.
After her service she emigrated to the U.S., where she met and
married Jim Franck, and later qualified as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
Lillian was predeceased by her husband; her sister Eva Ross of Fort
Macleod; and two brothers, Tom and Ted Liddell, of Northumberland.
Lillian is survived by her brother Jack of Northumberland; her
niece Eva David of Fort Macleod; and by two nephews, Alan Ross of Edinburgh,
Scotland and Jim Ross Sr. of Lethbridge.
A family memorial service will be held at Christ Church, Fort
Macleod. |
