Family, friends mourn Marion Taylor
It is with deep sadness the family of Marion May (nee Lock) Taylor
announces her passing at Chinook Regional Hospital with her family by her
side on Tuesday, May 15, 2007, at the age of 70 years after a very brief but
hard-fought battle with pancreatic and liver cancer.
Marion was born in High River on March 28, 1937.
Marion is survived by her loving husband of 51 years Keith; and her
granddaughter Dayna, who resided with them.
Marion is also survived by her children and grandchildren Karen
(Doug) Clark and Kaitlynd; Rob (Tanya) Taylor and his children Stephanie
(Ray Roy) and Austin, Stephen, and Shae-Lynn; Darla Stav and Dayna and Riata,
and their dad Randy Stav; and Dawn Taylor (Robert Watson); a very special
foster child, Katherine Aubury; and her two beloved canine pals Wren and
Abby. Marion is also survived by her brother Ron (Norma) Lock and their
family and numerous extended family members and many special friends.
Marion was predeceased by her loving son Kevin and her parents
George and May Lock of Okotoks.
A celebration of Marion's life will be held on Thursday, May 24,
2007, at 2 p.m. at Snodgrass Funeral Chapel, 200 Woodgate Road, Okotoks.
