Ruth Doreen Greer— 2007

   Ruth Doreen Greer passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer, at Fort Macleod on Saturday, June 9, 2007, at the age of 71 years.
   Ruth is survived by her two sons Grant (Denise) of Peace River and Perry (Janine) of Fort Macleod; grandsons Zane and Ty of Fort Macleod; her sister Esther Rosvold of Lethbridge; her brothers Walter Zimmer of the Okanagan and Darcy Zimmer of Calgary; and by many nieces, nephews and great friends.
   Ruth was predeceased by her parents Sam Zimmer and Ida Zimmer and her brother Klaus Zimmer.
   Ruth was an active member of the Lutheran Church. She was also a hockey Gramma to Zane and Ty. She was a hard-working, well-respected lady who was a great listener and wisdom provider. Ruth will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by her family and friends. May God bless her.
   A memorial service will be held at the Granum Lutheran Church on Saturday, June 16, 2007, at 2 p.m. with Pastor Mike Wellunscheg officiating.
   If friends desire, memorial donations may be made in Ruth's memory to The Canadian Cancer Society, c/o the Fort Macleod drug stores.
