Stella Walde (nee Patience) passed away at Fort
Macleod on Monday, June 18, 2007, at the age of 93 years.
Stella was born April 21, 1914 at Yellowgrass, Sask., the eldest of
six children. She moved, at the age of 10, with her family to Kimberley,
B.C. where she resided until recent years.
Stella is survived by her son Cliff (Judy) of Fort Macleod; her
sisters, Elsie Jones of Kimberley, B.C. and Viola (Ted) Bird of Port
Coquitlam, B.C.; and by her granddaughter Mackenzie (Troy) Neale of North
Burnaby, B.C. Stella is also survived by her special niece Tanya (Dan)
Pommier of Marysville, B.C. and by numerous other nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband Floyd; sisters, Eileen and Myna
and by her brother Patrick (Lloyd).
Stella was an active person who enjoyed basketball, skiing, walks
and golf. She was an avid reader, excellent cook and gardener.
