Blanche Irene (Pitchko) Tomik— 2008

   Blanche Irene (Pitchko) Tomik lived in Fort Macleod, Calgary, Maple Ridge, Creston and Claresholm.
   She passed away in Calgary on Sunday, Sept. 21 at the age of 83. Blanche was predeceased by her husband John, parents Andrew and Anna Pitchko, brothers Roman and Arthur.
   Left to mourn are her daughter Laurie (Glenn) Gibb of Calgary, granddaughter Michelle Gibb of Lethbridge, sisters Magdaline Wintemute and Mabel Loyst of Fort Macleod, as well as many other loving family members and friends.
   Blanche will be fondly remembered for her warm hospitality and generosity of spirit.
   The celebration of Blanche’s life was held in Calgary on Thursday, Sept. 25.
