Hugh Timothy Wilson of Whitecourt, who was born
March 1, 1955, passed away peacefully with his wife and children at his side
on Monday, May 5. Hugh will always be loved and never forgotten by his wife
of 29 years, Jacky.
He is survived by his children, Rachel (Jason) Patterson and Mark
(Billie), all of Whitecourt; grandchildren, Mason, Jade, Karson, identical
twin baby Wilson boys due to arrive this month and baby “Patty Poo”
Patterson arriving in October; his loving parents, Jack and Lorraine of Fort
Macleod; sisters and brothers, Janet (Mel) Jones of Fort Macleod, John
(Geri), Pat (Penni), all of Lethbridge, Dave (Lisa) of Claresholm, Chrissy
Wilson of Whitecourt and Matt (Jody Litle) of Fort Macleod; father- and
mother-in-law, Peter and Ann Knott; numerous nieces and nephews; three great
nephews and many other relatives and long-time friends.
Hugh was an avid and skilled outdoorsman. He loved bow hunting and
fishing. He was always in pursuit of a trophy whitetail or walleye. He also
loved sitting around the campfire with the coffee on. Hugh’s greatest love
was spending quality time with his wife, kids and grandkids, as well as with
family members and friends. Hugh touched every person he met and he will
truly be missed. May he rest in peace.
Prayers were held Friday, May 9 at 7 p.m. at St. Joseph’s Roman
Catholic School, 3804 - 47th St., Whitecourt.
Mass of Christian Burial was held Saturday, May 10 at 11 a.m at St.
Joseph’s Roman Catholic School. Reverend Father Limneo Zamora Jr.
officiated. Interment was in Whitecourt Cemetery.
