Lola Winnifred Jassman, beloved mother of Ginny
Donahue and Debbie Lauder, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 5,
2008, at the age of 83 years. Lola was born on March 3, 1925, the fourth
child of Stanley and Ella Law.
Besides her two daughters Ginny (Randy) Donahue and Debbie (Murray)
Lauder, she is survived by her grandchildren, Cody, Jodi, Jessie, Dayna,
Megan, Tanner, Ryan, Karli, Shannon, Trevor, Colleen, Craig, Aaron, Tammy,
Heather, Harley and Erin; and by her great grandchildren, Jaeger, Kaylee,
Bowen, Paiton, Asia, Eden, Matthew and Brandon.
Lola is also survived by two sisters, Rene Wolfe and Rae Olds;
three sisters-in-law, Diane Law, Pauline Lee and Marion Hays; and by
numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Lola was predeceased by her husband Chauncey in 1975; her parents;
her brothers, Vernon, Stewart and Gerald; one sister, Kathleen; and one
great grandson, Blake Thomas.
Lola loved the outdoors, the country way of life and the chuckwagon
races, but most of all she loved her family and was so very proud of her
grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her
family and friends.
Her celebration of life service was held on Monday, March 10, 2008,
in the Cowley Community Hall at 2 p.m.
