Mrs. Elsie Ann Butler (Wudrich)
passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2008 at the age of 88 years.
Elsie was born at Maleb, Alta. on Oct. 5, 1919. She lived in the
Aberdeen, Sask. area until her family moved to the Bow Island district
in the mid 1930s. She married Arnold Butler in November 1946. Elsie was
predeceased by Arnold in May 2001. She is survived by her children: Jim
(Marie) Butler and Barbara (Phillip) Roulston; her grandsons Michael
Butler, Brian (Melinda) Butler, Alan (Shelley) Butler, Ted (Angela)
Butler, Tom Roulston and Paul Roulston; and by her great grandchildren
Damian, Tyler, Dylan, Jarryd, Nicholas, Connor, Austen, Morgan and
Brooke Butler. Elsie was also predeceased by her brother Walter Wudrich
and her sister Alvena Kettles.
She is survived by her brothers Andy (Betty), Rudy and Gus (Fern);
her sisters Dorothy Geddes and Lilly (Stan) Dockrell and by her nieces
and nephews. |

Elsie will be lovingly remembered by her
family. She loved to gather her family together and cook wonderful meals for
them.
At Elsie’s request there will not be a funeral service. A graveside
service was held on Saturday, Oct. 4, 2008, at 2 p.m. at Union Cemetery,
Fort Macleod.
Visitation was held at Eden’s Funeral Home from 12:30 p.m. until
1:45 p.m. prior to the graveside.
