Philip Lloyd Hart was born
Jan. 22, 1959 in Fort Macleod and passed away with his family at his
side, at the Tom Baker Center in Calgary on Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2008.
He will be sadly missed by his wife Pat; his parents Bob and Marj
Hart; brother Ian (Felicia) Hart; sister Brenda (Klaas) Vanden Beld;
nieces Jaime and Kalen Vanden Beld and Olivia Hart; nephew Garret Vanden
Beld; Jake and Sue Driediger and the Driediger family and by many aunts,
uncles and cousins.
Phil will be missed by his many friends, which include the Fort
Macleod “Sweat Sox” group and the Men’s Golf League at Carnmoney Golf
Club in Calgary.
Phil grew up and attended school in Fort Macleod and began his
business career at Reach’s Grocery Store. He moved to Calgary and
graduated from SAIT in 1979. For the past 25 years Phil has been a
founding partner of PBS Systems in Calgary. |

In his personal life, he enjoyed spending time with family and
friends, golfing, traveling, watching Cowboys football and was known for his
incredible love for life, sense of humor and karaoke vocal style.
The funeral service was held at Trinity United Church, Fort
Macleod, on Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2008, at 2 p.m. with Rev. Eras Van Zyl
officiating. Interment in Union Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made in
Phil’s memory to The Alberta Cancer Foundation, 710 — 10123 99th St.,
