Leslie (Les) Narkaus— 2009
| Leslie (Les) Narkaus, beloved
husband of Merle Narkaus of Fort Macleod, passed away peacefully at the
Pincher Creek Hospital on Saturday, April 4, 2009, at the age of 84
years. Besides his loving wife Merle, Les is lovingly remembered by his three children Dan (Lorna), Ray (Judy), and Linda, as well as nine grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren. Les is also lovingly survived by his extended family members Stan, Mary, Dave and their families. Les loved ranching and was an active member of the community. He was a member of the Golden Age Equestrian Club and Heritage Acres. His favourite pastimes were riding, driving his team, listening to old-time music and dancing. A memorial service was held at Eden’s Funeral Home, Fort Macleod, on Wednesday, April 8, 2009, at 1 p.m. with Mr. Jack Cullen officiating. Memorial donations in Les’s memory may be made directly to STARS, P.O. Box 570, 1441 Aviation Park N.E., Calgary, T2E 8M7 or to a charity of one’s choice. |
