Willemina Magdalena
Arnoldussen, beloved wife of the late John Arnoldussen of Fort Macleod,
passed away on Sunday, May 10, 2009, at the age of 91 years.
Mrs. Arnoldussen was born in the Netherlands in 1918 and immigrated
to Canada in 1948. She was a very loving mother and oma to her children,
grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
She is survived and fondly remembered by Clarence Nicolaas
(Johanna) Arnoldussen, Jannette (John) Moens, Sanderina (Jacob) Kooyman,
Willy (John) Guliker, Tilly (Henry) Van Sluys, Gerda (Wayne) May, John
(Rita) Arnoldussen, Mary Anne (Dick) Westeringh, Hank (Stella)
Arnoldussen. Oma is also survived by her 51 grandchildren and 64
great-grandchildren. Besides her loving husband John, Mrs. Arnoldussen
was predeceased by her daughter Baby Willemina, and her grandson Joel
Arnoldussen. Mrs. Arnoldussen’s family would like to extend a special
thank you to the staff of the Bethesda Care Home, for the loving care
given. Condolences will be held between 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Wednesday,
May 13, 2009, at the Netherlands Reformed Congregation Church, 2608
Seventh Ave., Fort Macleod.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 14, 2009, at
the Netherlands Reformed Congregation Church, Fort Macleod, with Rev. H.
Den Hollander officiating. Interment to follow in the Union Cemetery. No
flowers by request. |
