| Mrs. Edith (Dot) Atkinson (nee
Hart) of Fort Macleod passed away on Sunday, June 6, 2010, at the Peter
Lougheed Hospital in Calgary at the age of 81 years. Dot is survived by her children Joe (Edith), Gerry (Patsy), Bill, Pat; 11 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; a great great grandchild; two brothers and a sister. A funeral service was held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 10, 2010, at Trinity United Church, 220 20th St., Fort Macleod, with Rev. Eras Van Zyl officiating. Interment followed in Union Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made in Edith’s memory to the Macleod Pioneer Lodge, P.O. Box 790, Fort Macleod, T0L 0Z0.
