| Norma Joyce Weerstra, born
April 30, 1935, passed away on Tuesday, March 30, 2010, loving wife of
Andrew; mother of Terry, Mike and Maria, Allan and Lorraine, Wendy and
Gary, Wendy, Donna and Oryst, Jamie and Elaine and John. Norma was loved by 12 grandchildren and four great grandchildren and has been freed from the bondage of Alzheimer’s disease. Norma was generous, kind, patient, humble, a talented artist, fisher extraordinaire and loved her garden. She was loved by all. Her final wish was to come home to the country and foothills of Granum. At Norma’s request there will not be a public service. In memory of her beautiful soul, a park bench will be placed in Grandview Park. Flowers gratefully declined. In lieu, donations for the bench may be sent to M. Mayder, P.O. Box 1147, Bragg Creek, T0L 0K0. Arrangements entrusted to Leyden’s Funeral Home, Claresholm. Phone 403-625-3212. |
