On October 9, 1954 she married the love of her life, Willie. They shared 47 years together filled with love, respect and admiration for each other.
Mary and Willie retired to Fort Macleod seven years ago, where Mary enjoyed her flowers, going for walks and watching the river flowing past their home. Her favorite hobby was flower arranging, for herself and others, and many homes have her special gifts in them.
She was a wonderful homemaker and enjoyed travelling. Last year her life-long dream came true when she and Willie travelled to Europe and she went to her parents homeland in Slovakia.
Mary was a gentle, loving person and for many years was a faithful member of the Catholic Women’s League and the Pearce Women’s Institute.

Mary was a special wife, mother and grandmother and has left us a legacy of love, family and friendship. Our time together was precious and we will treasure it always. She was very proud of her family and all they had accomplished. Her grandchildren were very special and were her pride and joy. She will be greatly missed, but forever remembered by all whose lives and hearts she touched.
