Tonneson, Roy

Roy C. Tonneson of Lethbridge passed away at the Edith Cavell Care Centre on Monday, July 15, 2002 at the age of 74 years.
He is the loving stepfather of Richard (Lila) Kluserits of Peachland, B.C., Ron (Noni) Kluserits of High River, Judy (Barry) Pelletier of Lethbridge, Marg Cyr of Lethbridge, and Janet (Glen) Gemmell of Medicine Hat.
He is also survived by eight grandchildren; five great grandchildren; one brother Leonard Tonneson of Lethbridge; one sister-in-law Wynn Tonneson, of Taber; three nieces, one nephew and relatives in the United States, Norway and Sweden.
He was predeceased by his parents Lars and Anna, and two brothers, Norman and Harold.
Roy was born June 28, 1928 in Enchant and was raised and educated in that area.
He joined the RCAF and graduated with honors. Roy opened up a T.V. shop in Fort Macleod called Sunset Radio & TV in the early ’60s. Roy also loved to work with refrigeration, working in many stores. Roy loved people and enjoyed telling jokes. His hobbies included boat building, fishing, and working on cars. He will be sadly missed.
A family service will be held at Enchant at a later date.
