Fitzpatrick, Allan

Allan (Fitz) Fitzpatrick died peacefully in his sleep on June 23, 2003, weary of his struggle with cancer.
He is survived by his loving wife Anne; three daughters, Carolyn (Jake Yake) of Walsh, Alta., Shelley and Dave Molyneaux, Sandra and Lance Davidson of Calgary; and six grandchildren, Leanne, Jeremy, Jason, Angela, Sarah and Courtney.
Allan is also survived by four sisters, Beatrice (Joe) Donahue of Claresholm, Bernice (Vern) Weis of Lethbridge, Francis (Ed) Cesar of Granum and Patricia (Laurie) LaBrie of Calgary; and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents Dalton and Fedelia.
Allan was born on Aug. 27, 1934 at Granum, where he was raised and educated. He set out for his first full-time work for the Hudson’s Bay Co. in Uranium City, Sask., and then settled in the funeral profession for 45 years, retiring in 2000.
Prayers and tributes were held Thursday, June 26 at St. Cecilia’s Church with Rev. Henry Rosenbaum officiating.
The funeral mass was celebrated Friday, June 27 at St. Cecilia’s Church, Rev. Bruce Schule, celebrant.
