Joseph Henry Nicholson, beloved husband of Sally Nicholson of Fort Macleod, passed away peacefully in Fort Macleod on December 31, 2002, at the age of 81 years.
Joseph was born November 22, 1921 in Powell River, B.C., the only child of Archie and Florence Nicholson.
Joseph is survived by his wife of 54 years, Sally Elizabeth Nicholson; and their five children: Dee (Marcel) Cote of Maple Ridge, B.C., Bobbie Nicholson of Lethbridge, Ruth Nicholson of Coaldale, Mardell Nicholson of Fort Macleod and Rick (Susan) Nicholson of Shaunavon, Sask.
He is also survived by eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
A funeral service was held at Eden’s Funeral Home, Fort Macleod on Monday, Jan. 6, 2003, at 1 p.m. with Rev. Aldeen McKay officiating.
Graveside Service by the Fort Macleod Royal Canadian Legion and interment followed in Union Cemetery
