Pascal, Lillian

Lillian Wanetha Pascal passed away peacefully at the Pincher Creek Municipal Hospital on January 23, 2003 at the age of 91.
Lillian was born in Barberton, Ohio, March 26, 1911. She met John (Jack) Pascal, who was just out of the United States Marine Corp, and they married in 1927 in Akron Ohio.
In 1932 during the depression, Lillian, Jack and daughter Norma Jean came to Canada and settled in Fort Macleod, Jack’s boyhood home.
During their many years in Fort Macleod, Lillian was a devoted church worker and was the proud recipient of the Catholic Women’s League 25-year service pin and certificate of merit.
Lillian and Jack came to Pincher Creek in 1983 to be nearer to family and enjoyed time spent with their great grandchildren.
Lillian lost her beloved husband Jack to cancer in April 1987. She was a long-time resident of Crestview Lodge and recently made her home at Vista Villa until her passing.
She is survived by her daughter Norma Jean McNeill of Pincher Creek, granddaughter Jo-Ann (Bob) Medley of Pincher Creek, grandson Randy (Pam) McNeill of Tucson Arizona, and granddaughter Debra McNeill Matheson of Red Deer; eight great grandchildren and one great great grandson Daellen.
Lillian will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her family.
Funeral service was held at Pincher Funeral Chapel on Monday, Jan. 27, 2003.
