O’Sullivan, Slack

Slack O’Sullivan, beloved husband of the late Joyce O’Sullivan, passed away at Fort Macleod on Thursday, Jan. 22, 2004, at the age of 71 years.
Slack was a great father, grandfather and friend to many and his kindness, laughter and twinkle in his eye will be missed. His humour was endless.
Slack was born in Fort Macleod on June 24, 1932. He married Joyce Hallin, from Kipling, Sask., on November 30, 1953. Joyce predeceased him on Feb. 29, 1997.
Slack worked at Greyhound and Crestbrook Forest Industries. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed sports, including boxing, hockey, curling and baseball. For many years he volunteered as coach and umpire for the Fort Macleod Little League.
Slack is survived by his sons: Kevin (Nancy) and Keith (Christine) and by his grandchildren C.J. and Justin.
A memorial service was held at Trinity United Church, Fort Macleod on Monday, Jan. 26, 2004 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Aldeen McKay officiating.
