Pearson, Kathleen (Kay) Flora

Surrounded by her loving family, Kathleen (Kay) Flora Pearson, formerly of Fort Macleod, passed away peacefully Nov. 22 in Edmonton at the age of 77 after a courageous battle with Alzheimer┬╣s Disease. Kay will be forever remembered and cherished for her loving and kind heart. Her tireless dedication to her family, friends and to her community was outstanding. This was reflected in her being a Life Member of the Order of the Royal Purple and a good neighbour to all who knew her. She is survived by brothers Don (Rogierre) Carmichael and Dave (Joan) Carmichael; sisters Margaret (Ted) Zech and Shirley (Lloyd) Nelson; and her four children, Mrs. Donna (Garth) Wiens of Hinton, Mrs. Laurie (James) Templeton of St. Albert, Mr. Jay (Dr. Judith) Pearson of Lethbridge, and Mr. Brian Pearson of Drayton Valley. Kay loved her five grandchildren, Sandra Brooks, Tyler (Lisa) Wiens, Sherry Brooks, Andrew Pearson and Sam Pearson; her great granddaughter Maiah Wiens and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Charles Albert Pearson, her parents John and Clara Carmichael and her sister Mary Zeck. Funeral services were held at Eden’s Funeral Chapel on Saturday, Nov. 26 at 2 p.m.
