Thompson, Jeffery J. C.

Jeffery J. C. Thompson was received into heaven by the Lord Jesus on Saturday, June 3, 2006. Jeff was born in Lethbridge on Oct. 24, 1984. Left to mourn are Glenn W. and Theresa (Terri) Thompson, brother Keith (Tammy) Thompson (Calgary), and sister Catherine (Russel) Baiton, all of Lethbridge; grandpa Nelson Revill of Grand Forks, B.C.; aunts Vivian Blackwell of Surrey, B.C., Lynn Revill (Bill) Westbrook of Wetaskiwin; and uncles Wes (Patricia) Revill of Vancouver, Chris Revill of Grand Forks, John Revill of Kelowna and uncle Wayne (Mary) Thompson of Cranbrook.
Surviving also are three nieces and one nephew, Abigail and Isabella Thompson, Silva and John Baiton. Cousins are Daniel, Tikva, Naomi, Fiona, Malachi and Havilah Revill and Dwayne (Colette), Blaine (Karline) and Brent (Marcy) Thompson and their children.
Also left to mourn are numerous great aunts, uncles and second cousins in the Harty and Thompson families, the Egert family and grandma Lydia Wutzke. Jeff was predeceased by grandma Elvi Revill (1988), grandma Jeanette Thompson (1989) and grandpa Stan Thompson (1990).
Jeff loved all music and among his favorites were country, rock, Celtic and Latin. He played the guitar and knew hundreds of songs, was a natural dancer, actor and comedian.
He rode his horse Smoky for pleasure, rodeoed in the Alberta High School Rodeo Association and Border circuit as a tie-down calf roper for a couple of years.
Highly visual, Jeff was skilled at graphic work on the computer and also worked part-time in the family business. He had a great interest in art, literature and architecture. Recently his travels took him to Europe. Jeff was a compassionate soul with a zany sense of humor. He had friends of all ages and backgrounds throughout western Canada and the U.S. Funeral services will be held at the Magrath Ag Society arena on Thursday, June 8 at 2 p.m. Internment to follow at the Pioneer Cemetery.
